Star of the Show Tee

Every time I put on the “Star of the Show” ⭐️ tee, I am reminded of the many hats I can put on each day to succeed through the moment. 🥇Let’s talk about motherhood for a moment… I bet a lot of you are thinking “oh yeah the maid hat, the chauffeur hat, dog walker, laundry queen, dish slayer, chef😂 (does Mac and cheese count)”. You get my point right… but as moms, wives, daughters & sisters we all wear so many hats on the daily trying to get everything done, which that in itself makes us Stars already! As I sit in silence this morning, yes silence I said… my kids are growing up in a split home. I am sure so many can relate. But while sitting in the silence I look around the beautiful home that we have built, even in the part time moments with them. I am reminded that I am the Star of the Show. ✨They depend on me to show them the way! They look up to me to know they can follow their dreams, just as I still am doing today, they can be kind and yet set boundaries, they know life is hard but to trust God, they know you have to work hard everyday to succeed down that narrow path that isn’t “easy street”, they learn that it’s better to give than to receive…. my point here is they are sponges of who we are as parents and they absorb the morals of life at this age.
❤️My biggest “hat” flex is …they know with GOD all things are possible. Their love for God is growing and it hit me this morning when my daughter texted and said she still is walking into youth group solo tonight, even though her friend won’t be there.🙏🏻
Or last night when my son took a broken wooden baseball bat (that he broke while hitting in the cage) and made a cross out of it for his room! ⭐️Their Faith = my BIGGEST accomplishment …I know no matter what has been thrown my way in the past, I am RESILIENT, I will succeed and even though I may not give my kids the mansion on the hill materialistically, I have given them so much more. 🙏🏻 Faith!
